Sharon-Louise’s Blog: “You’ve Got To Go There To Come Back”

As time goes by, life has its own way of rearranging itself, almost as if somebody has handed us a life already wrote and mapped out for us to live. Things coincidently just fall in to place, in which we as human beings have no real power over and therefore we automatically just accept the serendipities that happen within our lives, almost as if they were meant to happen for a reason.

People enter our lives, and inevitably, they leave as well. Things have a tendency to happen which can alter our lives dramatically, turning our world upside down either for the better or for the worse. However, no matter how many changes life takes you through, you’ll come to realise that although somethings are different, you are too.

Sometimes, reality is the hardest thing to understand in life, and the hardest thing to realise. But once it hits you in the face, you will never forget it. It will always be there in your memory for you to remember when you need to, and that’s probably the best way of looking at it. Life isn’t about knowing, it’s about being given a chance, and taking a moment in your life which means the most to you and making the best of it, not knowing what’s going to happen next.

In a few weeks time I will be starting University, where my three years tuition will begin, as well as my £6,000 debt. I don’t know whether or not I will end up benefiting from my time there, but only time will tell. If you live your life worrying about the future, you will only find yourself always standing still.

The trick to life is to keep moving. (Forward hopefully…)

  1. It’s just over £6k, but unfortunately I meant that’s just for one year. My three years tuition will work out to be around £18 to £19k
