TILBURY”S slim hopes of a play off place were kept alive by the victory against Sporting Bengal.
Goals by Alex Hernandez (19′ pen), Lindell Stewart (31′), Kieran Jones (34′) and Harrison Day (74′) secured all three points.
Sporting’s scorer was Sam Bailey (86) however, the defeat consigns them to relegation.
The result leaves Tilbury in sixth place, six points off the play off places but just four games to play.
They return to action on Friday away at Brentwood Town.
