BY-elections will take place in Grays Town and Grays Riverside wards on Thursday 23 July.
A seat in each ward is currently vacant following the resignation of one councillor in each ward. The upcoming by-elections will decide who will replace them.
A Notice of Election will be published on Thursday 18 June, which will give details of the upcoming by-elections, including the timelines for candidates to come forward to stand for election. It will be available on our website, thurrock.gov.uk, and on display boards at the Town Hall in Grays.
Registered electors in Grays Town and Grays Riverside wards respectively will be able to vote in the by-elections.
