Former royal protection officer was today (friday) found guilty of a £3 million property and betting scam.
Paul Page, 38, Chafford Hundred had denied conning colleagues and others out of five and six-figure sums as part of a false investment scheme.
Page was cleared of a charge of intimidation.
Page was told by Judge Geoffrey Rivlin that he faced a “substantial sentence of imprisonment”.
Last month Page’s wife Laura, 42, was cleared of intimidating and threatening to kill one of their victims after he spoke to police.
Sentencing will take place later this month.
