British Transplant Games star Liz Hosford warmed up nicely for the World Champs in Brisbane this month with five gold medals.
Liz won gold at shot, discus, javelin, squash and a fourth place in the Long Jump at the games in Coventry.
Fellow competitor Wayne Whiskerd was also in the medals with a silver and bronze. The silver was in the 5k cycling time trial.
Liz said: “I am delighted at bagging the five golds. My hamstring tweaked a bit in the Long Jump but I am raring to go for Australia.”
