On Monday, (2 November) the Guitar Faculty from Thurrock Council’s Music Services will be presenting its annual Bands of Tomorrow 3 concert at the Thameside Theatre in Grays at 7.30pm.
The evening will feature soloists from schools across the borough – both Junior and Secondary, playing pieces from jazz and funk, to blues and rock. Tutors from the team will accompany all the soloists.
Kicking off the night will be the Thurrock Music Services Electric Guitar Orchestra (EGO) – which boasts 20 guitars and basses as well as two drummers and a percussionist.
Also playing are, the Grays Convent band, Deliruim, Green Mile (Gable Hall) and the new line up of Live Wire.
The evening will see the welcome return of Chafford Campus band Alternate Monday and Four Egos and Tom (also from Gable Hall) who proved extremely popular at last years event.
