THURROCK Safeguarding Children Board hosted a well attended and highly informative conference centred upon the new safeguarding legislation.
The new legislation has created some confusion (usually created by my colleagues) so the centre point of the day was a key note speech by Simon Morrison from the Home Office who was able to take practitioners through the legislation thereby clarifying and myth-busting.
