LABOUR leader John Kent has admitted that it would be churlish not to praise the council for many of the good points mentioned in the Audit Commissions Comprehensive Area Assessment however Cllr Kent has many reservations.
In this interview he makes reference to:
1. The continuing fragile relationship between councillors and officers
2. Is the top heavy presence of interim officers, an empire built on sand.
3. Weak procurement
4. Lack of political leadership in relation to community cohesion.
5. Too many community events when most people are at work.
