GRAYS Athletic have put their whole squad up for sale.
Speaking to the Thurrock Gazette, Grays boss Julian Dicks pointed to the 3-1 defeat against Worcester as the tipping point for the club.
Dicks said: “It was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
“Our first-half performance was a disgrace — a total joke.
“I can understand mistakes but I won’t tolerate a lack of passion and desire.
“If clubs want any of my players they can take them.
Just days before their vital christmas matches, Dicks doesn’t hold out much hope that the Blue Square Premier clubs or better will come in and buy the squad.
He said: “They are all officially available for transfer, but don’t be fooled that they will get Blues Square Premier clubs: None of them are good enough for this level. I need a minimum of six or seven positions filled.”
Grays travel to Ebbsfleet on Boxing Day.
