THE PURPOSE of this film is to show that the work at Studio 7 is not just about young people turning up and “making it up as they go along”
Whether the process is organic: i.e: developing the sounds as they are in the recording booth or going in with a fixed and structured way of doing things, there is real clay here. Young people who could develop sound skills.
Some of the singers have very distinctive voices and there is a variety of styles from harsh gutteral rapping to smooth r’n’b.
This film is simply the camera dropping in and observing the creative process.
