The AGM will be held at 1015 am on Wednesday 24th March at the East Tilbury Library, Princess Avenue, East Tilbury. This meeting will be followed at 11 am by an OPEN DAY when project members will be present until 4 pm to meet visitors and show the recently updated BATA Museum displays.
This is the first opportunity for visitors to see the recently published book “The Origin & Development of the BATA Factory & Estate”. There will be a personal appearance by the author M.A.Ramsey. Visitors with a BATA or East Tilbury connection are especially welcome. The BATA R. & R. Centre gratefully acknowledge the financial assistance from Thurrock Thames Gateway Development Corporation.
