The Stanford Forum is already beginning to prepare for the 10th anniversary of the Stanford Music Festival with another staging of our ever popular “Thurrock’s Got Talent”.
The event will take place on 8th May 2010 at The Crooked Billet Stanford le Hope. The competition is open to singers, dance acts, musicians, magicians etc. of all ages; unfortunately the event is not open to bands.
The evening is a great family night out with four judges deciding the winner on the night; first prize is £50.00 and the chance to record a CD plus the opportunity to open our 2010 music festival on our open air stage on 3rd July 2010. Other entrants may also get a chance to appear during the festival.
Previous winners have been Shana and Ceyhan who have both gone on to further their musical careers following their appearance on “Thurrock’s Got Talent”.
So come on don’t be shy take the plunge and enter to see where it could lead you! All money raised on the night helps keep The Stanford Music Festival a free event.
