AS THE General Election looms closer, some of the issues that have been discussed over the past year or so have dropped off the radar. So this may be a key time to return to them. One such issue was the campaign fought by Tracy Law over the positioning of masts in the Chafford Hundred area.
Did she win a battle or a war? What did the “ordinary mum” learn about the democratic process. Was she impressed with the help she obtained from local councillors? Would she do it all again.
The elections will come and go but as soon as the council meetings start up again, many issues will rear their ugly heads again.
