A BRAND new musical written and directed by Thurrock’s Level 2 Creative and Media students sees the life of a teenager rapidly transformed through his untimely visit to the pearly gates in the sky!
Humphrey is challenged to save the lives of a group of teenagers suffering symptoms of the seven deadly sins. Although imperfection and puberty go hand in hand, Humphrey soon realises his challenge set by Saint Peter is a tall order and slightly more than a day’s work.
This is the first production encompassing the work of three different secondary schools in Thurrock, celebrating collaboration and the success of the Diploma so far.
The Creative Media Diploma prepares students for the world of media, if that is the path they wish to take along their career.
The course is very rigorous academically and nurtures very strong employer links with the media, incase the students wish to gain a media-related Trident place in Year 10.
Working in partnership with authorities at local, regional and national level has been the key to the success of the Diploma. Diplomas instead of exam based courses provide students with a level of independence that they tend to take on to college level.
