Child Airlifted To Hospital In Middle Of T-Fest

THE POLICE, emergency services, Thurrock Council and the public were highly praised after the Essex Air Ambulance landed in the middle of the festival in order to airlift a ten-year-old child who had suspected spinal injuries after falling from a climbing frame.

X-Factor star Stacey Solomon had just left the stage when T-Fest organiser Samson D’Alyn came to the stage and calmly directed the mass crowd to start moving to the left.

Officer-in-charge, Chief Inspector Paul Moor used all his experience as one of television’s Police Interceptors to command and control the situation. Creating a clear area for the helicopter to land.

The area was cleared of debris, taped off as the chopper swooped into the T-Fest field moments later.

The child was taken from the nearby medical centre into the helicopter which flew off moments later.

YourThurrock will update you on the welfare of the child as soon as possible.
