THE PHONE hasn’t stopped at Father Tim’s vicarage since a wedding party was arrested in mid-nuptial at St John’s church in Dock Road, Tilbury two days ago.
Fr Tim has been vicar at the church for thirteen years. He is a hugely popular figure and his church is seen as a cornerstone for the transformation and regeneration of Tilbury.
In the first part of the interview Fr Tim discusses the general concerns the clergy in Tilbury and across the borough have for the growing number of suspected sham marriages.
