FILMED in Stanford-le-Hope and the Thameside Theatre, Films of Colour have produced a new video directed by Harry Handyside that perfectly compliments the new single “Circles”
There is always a temptation to have to pin a “sounds like” on any group. Having said that, there is a Radiohead feel to the group. and the video (Street Spirit)
Their music has more depth than Coldplay or Keane and does nod to the eighties without being able to pin down any one particular band.
The ethereal nature of the film, the dream landscapes on the edge of Stanford is perfectly complimented with the dream sequence filmed in the Thameside.
Films of Colour are now in a solid position in the autumn of 2010. The phone has been hot since the Steve Lamaq interview on Radio 1.
