A COMPANY will be creating 60 new jobs in Essex including a number in Stifford Clays by reopening off-licences after they went into administration.
The off-licence is due to open up in Stifford Clays followed by a number over the Essex region including Battlesbridge, Hockley, Southend and Thorpe Bay
The Wine Rack, in Broadway, Thorpe Bay, will open this weekend and the Local in Southchurch Road, Southend, and another in Cramerville Street, Stifford Clays, are expected to open soon.
Andy O’Reilly, operations manager for Jubilee Wines told The Echo that the company was started in May when it bought an empty off-licence in Shenfield.
He added: “Jubilee Wines is new to the off-licence world, but there is a lot of background experience in it.
“It is a new venture for us. We picked stores we felt would fit into the remit of our business and we can really produce a range which will suit local customers.”
