Residents from the Purfleet Garrison Estate are invited to attend a public meeting to set up a new Community Group for the estate. The meeting is being held on Wednesday 20th October at 7.00pm, at the Proof House, Centurion Way, Garrison Estate, Purfleet.
The meeting has been organised by residents on the Estate who have come together to form a Community Group. This is because they want to ensure that local residents are able to influence the new developments on the Estate and have more say on the local improvements.
Representatives from the School, Health, faith, local businesses and local community groups are also invited to attend the meeting. There will be a chance to talk about the future of the Garrison Estate and what improvements could be made to the area. There will also be an update on the fund that is available for young people projects on the Estate, and residents will be look talk about the suggestion that have come forward. You can also find out what’s happening about the Youth House on the estate and some of the ideas for its use. Free refreshments will also be available so please come along.
