The Ockendon Scout and Guide Group are very excited to announce that Postman Pat, Nurse Glucose and Smiley O’Riley from the Thameside Theatre’s Pantomime have agreed to come and open their Christmas Bazaar at 1.30pm next Saturday 27 November 2010 at their HQ in Tamarisk Road, South Ockendon.
They will be staying for a cup of tea and a mince pie so if you would like to come along and say hello and have your photo taken, we would love to see you.
There will be the usual vast array of stalls and activities at the bazaar including the man in the red suit – Father Christmas. There is a small charge of £1.50 to visit Father Christmas and all visitors receive a gift from him. There will be cakes, toys, brick a brac, jewellery, wine and water, books, a chance to wrap a gift for your loved ones (£2.00 per gift) and much, much more!
The Beavers recently visited The Bear Factory at Lakeside to make the bear for their Name the Bear stall and had great fun.
