A TILBURY teenager caught driving without a driving licence or insurance was also found to have crack cocaine in his vehicle, a court heard.
The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was driving on the Chadwell Road in Grays on the 17th September when police stopped him.
The court heard that the youth gave the police a false name but it was soon established that he had neither a driving licence nor insurance in respect of the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle and his home in Tilbury found evidence of crack cocaine and cannabis.
The youth pleaded guilty admitting to heavy drug use for which he was receiving treatment.
The youth will be sentenced on December 17th.
