Firefighters were called to a fire in an external electrical box at William Edwards school in Stifford Clays. The incident took place on Monday evening around 7pm.
The school building was evacuated as precaution. Part of the building was smoke logged and crews used a high pressure fan to ventilate the area. The incident was dealt with by 19:45hrs.
