A 22-year-old who admitted killing a Grays man in a street attack in Kent has been jailed for three-and-a-half years reports the BBC.
Saulius Klevinskas, 35, of Grays, Essex, died from head injuries in hospital five days after the attack in Balmoral Road, Gillingham, in August.
At Maidstone Crown Court Ruben White, of Kingswood Road, Gillingham, was sentenced to three-and-half years.
The 22-year-old had initially denied manslaughter but changed his plea last month.
Kent Police said White became involved in an argument with Mr Klevinskas outside a shop.
Mr Klevinskas, originally from Lithuania, was punched and fell to the floor.
Det Insp Geoff Payne, of Kent Police, said: “White may not have intended to kill a man that day, but his aggressive actions and thoughtlessness resulted in the most devastating circumstances imaginable.
“This was a tragic case and highlights how one person’s irresponsible actions can prove fatal.”
