Manlee rescues point for the Dockers

Redbridge 1 v 1 Tilbury

In tough conditions, the first clear chance fell to Tilbury as good work from Harry Cook allowed him to deliever to unmarked Jack West who volley was parried away by the goalkeeper. Just as the game seemed to be going in tied at the break, a long ball was flicked into McLeod’s path and round Marrable before slotting the ball into the empty net.

In the second half, chances fell to Crossley and Lee but their shots were cleared off the line by Bradbury and Deniz Harmanci.

As Tilbury went on the search for an equaliser, Redbridge caught Tilbury on two successful breaks which were both supurbly denied by goalkeeper James Marrable. However, as Redbridge tried to run the clock down, a run by Jack West saw his eventual shot deflected for corner. From the resulting Ben Bradbury corner, Redbridge goalkeeper, Eastham took a routine catch only for the ball to kindly fall to Manlee Brown to dispatch the ball for the equaliser. Tilbury went on searching for the winner but Brown and Bradbury could only fire straight at Eastham.
