IT COULD well now be just a matter of time before every senior school in Thurrock is an academy in some form or other. For education minister Michael Gove MP, it cannot come quickly enough.
In many ways his tour of the school was a validation of all that the school stands for. In class after class, the minister witnessed for himself the culture of aspiration that permeates the Marshfoot Road school.
From Maths to History to Home Economics, Art and then to a Q and A with the senior students, Mr Gove could see the work that Head Kevin Sadler and his team have done over the last five years or more.
