Firefighters were called to an RTC involving two vehicles, one woman was trapped by her injuries.
The collision took place at Alwen Grove, South Ockendon at 1pm on Sunday
Fire crews used two sets of specialist cutting equipment to release the casualty by 13:56hrs.
The woman was then placed in the care of the Ambulance Service.
