A HOST of Thurrock organisations gathered together at the Civic Hall last night at the annual Thurrock Business Awards.

The awards, jointly sponsored by the Port of Tilbury and Newsquest, had a range of categories from new company of the year to best company in the community.

Among the winners were the Royal Opera House, Agency East and Pixelwork. Pixelwork won the award for Most Innovative Company with their mobile explorer.
