Chadwell St Mary Amateur Boxing Club are over-joyed after receiving a very generous donation from the World Boxing champion David Haye’s company Haymaker promotions.
After attending Chadwell A.B.C’s last show held at the Gateway School in Tilbury, David Hayes Manager/Coach Adam Booth presented head Coach Chris Okoh with a cheque as he was so impressed with the quality of boxing from the local boys and girls!!

TWO MORE WINS THIS WEEKEND!!
Kevin Reavell 15 years 57kg was re matched against George Wright of Southend A.B.C on the Southend Open show held on Saturday 26th Match at the Chase Leisure Center in Westcliff.
Reavell had won the bout the previous week by a majority decision on the Brentwood Youth Show held at Keys Hall. Southend A.B.C fancied their chances and requested a re match the following week on their own show. Reavell boxed at a faster pace, using his jab effectively and landing good strong combinations of shots to gain him a clear points unanimous decision over the home boxer.
Billy Wilson 13 years 44kg boxed against A Calver on Sunday 27th March on the Orpington A.B.C open show held at The Plastic Red Sidcup Kent.
Billy’s coach Paul Chapman said ” He was very pleased with Billy’s performance as he felt he well deserved the unanimous points decision win as
he boxed a very controlled bout and followed all instructions from the start of the bell!”
