THE FUTURE of the Chafford Hundred community centre hangs in the balance as their application for a premises licence goes in front of Thurrock Councils licensing committee next week.
A number of residents have complained about the levels of noise emanating from the hall.
According to the management committee, failure to obtain the licence could see a massive hike in the rents for the cash strapped hall.
