Draw at Ware in pre-season friendly for Millermen

AVELEY eased their way into the season with a decent goal-less draw against Ware.

Ware are now under the guidance of Stuart Nethercott and the former Spurs star is clearly keen to forge a strong side together.

Sherwon Stanley continued to impress for the Millermen with two good chances in the first half.

For Ware, Ben Andreos went close with a header after getting on the end of a looping ball into the box from debutant left-back Denny Webb.

Aveley’s Daryl Robson and Tony Russell both had good chances before half time

Ware’s Jimmy Martin made a goal line clearance mid-way through the second half before Cedric Kayembe fed ex-Redbridge striker Anton Agdomar as the hosts surged forward, only for the big front man to miscue his strike.
