The Mayor and Mayoress of Thurrock joined other guests at one of the borough’s newest businesses on Wednesday (10 August) evening.
They are at the official opening of the Nana Rose restaurant in Lodge Lane parade, Grays.
Speaking afterwards, mayor Cllr Charlie Curtis said: “It was a pleasure to attend and promote this carvery. The food was good and the company superb.”
He added: “We must do all we can to help back local small companies like this — they are the lifeblood of Thurrock’s economy and if by just coming along and showing my support I can promote their business that’s what I’ll do.”
