Detectives are appealing for information in connection with a burglary in Purfleet.
The break-in happened in Purfleet when thieves forced their way through the locked front door of a house on Ulverston between 3pm Friday, September 9 and midday Monday, September 12.
The owner reported it to police on Monday lunchtime after returning to his property after having been away for the weekend.
Investigating Officer, Dc Pascal Menelas, said: “We’re not sure why this property was targeted or why only these specific items were stolen. We’re looking to speak with anyone who saw the actual break-in or any suspicious activity near the London Road area during that weekend.”
The items stolen were two mobile telephone, men’s trousers and a small quantity of jewellery.
