TWO MEMBERS OF A pirate radio station found themselves in court after causing damage to council property.
Deri Stephens, 32, Wood View, Grays and Matthew Smith, 39, Castle Road, Chatham, Kent pleaded guilty at Basildon magistrates court to damaging a door that led to the rood of Tasmania House, Tilbury.
The court heard that police were called on the evening of January 21st after reports that the two men had forced the door that led to the roof of the building.
Both men had gone to the roof to set up an aerial for a pirate radio station.
They were both fined £225.
