A NINE YEAR OLD pupil at Little Thurrock primary school has sustained serious neck injuries after an incident at the school.
Emergency services were called just after 1.40pm today (Wednesday) to the school at Rectory Road, Grays.
The Essex Air Ambulance was called and flew into the school.
The chopper conveyed the student to Royal London hospital.
Police and emergency services remain at the scene.
