Next Top Boss judges met on Tuesday (28 February) at Palmer’s College to consider the many entries to the competition this year.
Judges were impressed by the high standard of work completed by young people, and business challenge and special achievements judge Jacqui Harding, General Manager, Vertex said: “I was really impressed with the standard and creativity of the entries and enjoyed reviewing them with the rest of the team.”
Thurrock Council and the Next Top Boss partnership are now looking forward to the Oscar-style awards evening to be held on Monday, 19 March from 6pm to 9pm at Thameside Theatre, Grays.
At this event, the achievements of young people will be celebrated, award winners presented and a range of high-tech prizes including ipads and BlackBerries announced.
This year’s ceremony will be sponsored by Knowledge Thurrock Innovation Associates.
A special Next Top Boss Team of the Year Award will also be announced at the Thurrock Business Awards on Friday, 9 March by Steve Cox, Assistant Chief Executive, Thurrock Council.
