Eastbourne Borough 2 v 1 Thurrock
A LATE PENALTY by former Grays Ath star Ben Watson’s late penalty sealed another defeat for Thurrock at Eastbourne Borough.
Before that, Borough Skipper Ollie Rowe opened the scoring when he headed home Matt Crabb’s 19th minute corner.
Thurrock levelled in the 59th minute when Ahmed Deen’s cross was converted by David Knight.
But late on, Charles Ademeno was fouled in the box and Watson scored confidently from the spot.
