A WOMAN was stabbed with a pair of scissors after a alleged assault in a South Ockendon shopping precinct on Saturday afternoon.
The incident occurred at just after 3.30pm. A female victim had been in altercation with woman known to her.
In the course of a scuffle, the female victim received a very minor stab wound from a pair of scissors.
An ambulance attended.
A 49-year-old local woman has been arrested for assault.
She has been bailed until 29th April.
