ESSEX FSB (Federation of Small Businesses) has announced that the next meeting of its Thurrock Network Group will take place on Thursday 19 April 2012.
Essex FSB Thurrock Network Group Coordinator, Louise Ince, said: “The next meeting of the Thurrock FSB Network Group will be held from 8.00am until 9.30am at Knowledge Thurrock Innovation Associates, 17 George Street, Grays, Thurrock.
“Our informal meeting attracts a large number of people representing a varied range of different business types. They enjoy the opportunity to discuss issues with like-minded people about opportunities to move their businesses forward.
“The event is free to attend thanks to the generous sponsorship of Knowledge Thurrock Innovation Associates, which provides the venue and offers refreshments for those attending. The meeting is open to any business in the area and similar meetings have attracted around 40 local business people, with some good partnerships formed for their mutual benefit.
“Essex FSB believes it is important that, whenever possible, businesses develop contracts and contacts with other businesses in their area, as ‘Keeping Trade Local’ cuts costs and reduces their carbon footprint.
“We are looking forward to another well attended event and because there is a limit on numbers at the venue bookings should be made at http://essexfsbthurrocknetworkgroup.eventbrite.com/ to reserve a place at the event.”
The FSB represents more than 200,000 businesses across the United Kingdom and is the largest single organisation representing business interests in the country.
The South West Essex Branch of the FSB represents the interest of small businesses in the following postcode areas – CM13 to CM16, SS17, RM1 to RM20, and IG1 to IG11 – which includes Brentwood, Epping Forest, Havering, Redbridge and Thurrock Councils.
