FOR MANY Aveley residents it is a possible taste of life to come as the Aveley by-pass is shut after a lorry hit the bridge near to the entrance at Belhus Park.
The incident occurred last night (Wednesday) but the collision means that traffic has to go up Aveley High Street.
Traffic is being diverted.

Having driven up to the driving range at Belhus Park Weds evening I can safely say that Aveley village cannot cope with so many cars going through the centre of it. This also raises yet more questions about placing houses on the village side of the bypass. Had these houses been built there would have been total gridlock.
