CORRINGHAM writer, Kenny Emson’s writing career takes another step forward after he penned Tuesday nights episode of BBC1’s EastEnders.
Kenny has been writing for several years since leaving Gable Hall school. Now living in North London, he has written several plays for the stage as well as other scriptwriting duties.
Kenny said: “The breakthrough with EastEnders came out of workshops with the BBC writers academy.
“I’m very pleased with the episode. I am working another episode at the moment.”
Amazingly (with the Euro football champs on), friends of Kenny persuaded his local pub, the Faltering Fullback in Finsbury Park to put EastEnders on the big screen.
