Thurrock’s inaugural film festival had its launch tonight at the Park Inn . Deputy Mayor Tony Fish was amongst the guests invited to celebrate the official launch
For the two organisers, Benjamin Scarsbrook and Natalie Williams, this is the culmination of a years hard work and these two young people deserve success.
Famed film critic Barry Norman, who hosted the BBCs ‘Film’ programme for twenty-six years will be hosting an evening where he will discuss his favourite films and anecdotes from his long career.
The festival will also host a British Premiere! The acclaimed documentary ‘The Good Life’ by Danish director Eva Mulvard will premiere at Lakeside Shopping Center’s Vue Cinema. The Thurrock International Film Festival is an event that will not be ruined by the traditional English weather, as all of the events throughout the week will be held inside and tickets are only £3 per event. You can even buy a festival pass for £28, go to everything and save a third!
