Chafford Hundred street deluged by floods

ESSEX FIRE crews were called to a Chafford Hundred street stricken by flood water on Sunday.

Crews were called to flooding affecting 20 properties in Catalina Avenue.

The rain water was approximately three foot deep.


Anglian Water was in attendance pumping out water.

Crews assisted residents with moving there possessions and furniture to a dry place.

Crews dealt with the incident by 12:42hrs.

Elsewhere in the borough, the Treacle Mine roundabout was flooded and a number of streets had a deluge of water cascading down their roads.
