A BULPHAN pensioner who enjoyed a jet-setting pensioner with a yacht and homes across Europe has been jailed for a year over a £97,000 benefits fraud.
Paul Hoyle, 72, claimed benefits while living the high life with his partner Kim Burrell, 52.
They defrauded over £97,000 in housing and council tax benefits over six years before being caught.
Hoyle invented false identities, fictitious landlords and tenancy agreements.
Hoyle, of Bulphan, Essex, admitted benefit fraud and falsifying documents.
Mum-of-three Burrell got an eight-month suspended sentence and unpaid work after pleading guilty to fraud at Basildon Crown Court.

What’s wrong with one pensioner enjoying another jet setting pensioner if they want to. Sounds a bit ageist to me.
