THE first housing surgery in Tilbury will be taking place on Saturday 29 September from 10am to 2pm at the Lansbury Gardens Complex.
Cllr Val Morris-Cook, Portfolio Holder for Housing and Barbara Brownlee, Director for Housing at Thurrock Council will be running the surgery which invites tenants to come along and openly discuss any housing issues that concern them, as well as any ideas or suggestions they have to improve services.
Cllr Val Morris-Cook said “These surgeries provide a great platform for the tenants we provide housing for to come and speak to us one-to-one so we can discuss and decide together how we can make changes for the better”
This surgery is aimed at council tenants who live in the Tilbury and Chadwell St Mary area area but is open to all. It is the second of a number of housing surgeries that will be taking place throughout the borough at various locations.
