DETECTIVES are appealing for information following a burglary in south-west Essex in which the homeowner’s pet dog was possibly stolen.
The break-in happened in Tilbury when thieves broken in through the front door of a house on Elizabeth Close between 9am-7pm Thursday, October 11 and stole a three-figure sum of jewellery.
The homeowner’s black-and-white Chihuahua dog was missing when they returned home. Tipsey is thought to have either been stolen or ran out of the front door.
Anyone with information in connection with this burglary is urged to contact detectives at Grays police station on 101.
