ROAD policing officers are today renewing their appeal for witnesses to a road crash in south Essex which claimed the life of a Canvey Island man.
The collision happened when a Rover 25 struck a stationary lorry in a layby off the westbound carriageway of the A13 near Stanford -le-Hope shortly before 11am on Wednesday, November 7.
The car driver, 83-year-old Frederick Kemp from Point Road on Canvey Island, was certified dead at the scene.
