‘ngage’ in some Christmas fun!

ngage, the community charity are holding their annual Christmas Fun Night this year on Wednesday 12th December between 4.00pm and 7.30pm at the Civic Hall, Blackshots, Grays.

The event is completely FREE and includes free entertainment, craft and play activities for the children, mince pies and refreshments and much more. To top it all, Father Christmas has promised to drop in on his sleigh with a free gift for children under the age of 10 (limited to first 200).

Jacqui Payne, Programme manager for ngage said “Everyone is surprised when we say our Christmas event and activities and refreshments are free. Everyone has such a great time and it is full of surprises. We have ‘AJ’ the children’s entertainer, face painting, balloon modelling, craft activities and a great colouring competition for children. There is a silent disco and we are hoping that people will have a dance as it is sure to be fun, especially for those who are watching!. We also have a free raffle to win Lakeside vouchers and a hamper of Christmas goodies for one lucky person to win”.

The event helps to highlight what’s happening through partnership working and to celebrate the achievements of local community and voluntary groups and encourage more people to get involved. There will be many display stands available, including a new festive market place where people may wish to by Christmas presents. There will also be information about how residents can get involved in their local area through volunteering and local decision making opportunities.

Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you there.
