A WOMAN is being treated for serious injuries after falling into the River Thames at Grays.
Police were called to Argent Street at about 7.30pm on Thursday March 28 after reports that a woman had been seen to fall from Argent Wharf.
With help from other members of the public, officers found the woman in deep mud. She was taken to hospital and is being treated for hip and pelvic injuries. We have no further information about the woman, who is aged in her 40s. A police helicopter and lifeboat were involved in the search.
