WITH the summer term starting soon, Thurrock Council’s libraries are running their Booktime Story Clubs again.
They are held at five local libraries around the borough and are aimed at four- and five-year-olds.
The sessions will be at Blackshots Library on Thursdays between 3.30pm and 4.30pm; Corringham, Fridays, 3:30pm to 4:30pm; East Tilbury, Tuesdays, 3:15pm to 4:30pm; Grays, Wednesdays, 3:45pm to 4:20pm; and Tilbury, Mondays, 3:30pm to 4:30pm.
Children need to come with an accompanying adult.
The Booktime Story Club is part of a national project supported by the government and the Arts Council aimed at encouraging young children to join their library and read for pleasure.
