COALHOUSE Fort was “invaded by skinheads” in the name of art.
Funded by the Arts Council England and Tower Supporters Group, artist Lynn MacRitchie and her professional film production team worked with residents of Thurrock and Students from the University of Essex.
The video installation is due to premiere at the Thurrock International Film Festival before going global.
Performer Maggie Deverell-Hatch, student at Tai Chi for Health (Essex) went all out to get into character by having her head shaved.
In doing so raised over £600 for the Thurrock Forget-me-nots a newly formed charity providing social events for sufferers of Altzheimers and Dementia.
